A family run cattery in Cliffe, Rochester.
Please take careful note of the following conditions of booking/boarding.
- You can only deliver/collect your Cats between 9:30am to 1:00pm or 5:00pm – 5:30pm on Mondays to Saturday and only between 09:30am – 1:00pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
- Cats must be fully vaccinated against feline enteritis and feline influenza.
- Vaccination certificates must be provided on arrival and remain with your cat for the duration of the stay. Admission will be refused to any cat believed to be unvaccinated or without evidence of full protection.
- Any cat suspected to be suffering from infectious/contagious illnesses or showing signs of ill health will be refused admission, pending advice from a veterinary surgeon, that boarding is permissible.
- Whilst every possible care and attention is given to each cat boarded, Berrycourt Cattery can accept no liability for loss, either from illness, injury or death
- Owners, at the time of booking, must make Berrycourt Cattery aware of any illness or vet treatment appertaining to their cat(s) and any ongoing treatments that have occurred within the last 12 months and obtain agreement from Berrycourt Cattery for boarding. Failure to advise of details, may result in your boarding being declined.
- Owners give Berrycourt Cattery permission for any necessary veterinary treatment during their cat(s) stay and accept that the cat’s owner will be responsible for any costs incurred by Berrycourt Cattery, including flea and worm treatment and transportation costs. Where possible we will endeavour to use the cats own vet but the owner gives permission to use Berrycourt Cattery vets and also agreed to the euthanasia of the cat, only if the vet deems necessary.
- Berrycourt Cattery does not accept responsibility for the outcome if we are unable to administer medication to aggressive cats. If medication cannot be administered we will attempt to contact the owner (or the owner’s emergency contact person) and/or a veterinary surgeon for advice. Any expenses incurred to Berrycourt Cattery must be paid in full upon departure.
- Berrycourt Cattery reserves the right to separate cats from the same household who become aggressive. Any extra boarding expenses incurred through separation must be paid in full upon departure.
- Prices for boarding are shown on our website Berrycourt Cattery (barknpurr.co.uk) and are also confirmed at time of booking.
- Boarding is charged per day and includes any part of any day. Drop off and collection days are charged as full days
- Deposits for bookings of £20/per week or part week must be received within 14 days of the boarding date for a booking to be confirmed
- Deposits are non-refundable should you cancel your booking
- 14 days’ notice of cancellation is required otherwise the full boarding fee must be paid.
- Full payment (minus the deposit fee) is required upon drop off at the cattery.
- There are no discounts for early collections or shortening the original period booked.
- No discount is offered for food or items brought from home.
- Owners agree to Berrycourt Cattery using our own toys, scratch furniture and bedding unless advised on the booking form.
- Berrycourt Cattery welcome owners to bring their cats own toys and other items (excluding litter trays) which should be noted on the booking form however Berrycourt Cattery cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to any items left by the cat’s owner.
- Berrycourt Cattery cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to vehicles whilst on our premises.
- The owner confirms that, in an emergency, the emergency contact provided is aware they may need to collect the cat’s prior to the owners returning home
- A decision to rehome any cat not collected within 7 days of the departure date, and where no communication is received from the owner, will be made at Berrycourt Cattery’s discretion.
